Walk to School Week: survey results

Hi All!

I would like to share with you interesting data from our survey "Walk-to-school Week". More than 300 pupils from England, Poland, Slovenia, Italy, Lithuania and Spain in the scope of our Erasmus + project "Healthy habits, Healthy mind" took their time to answer the questions.

Find below some interesting data and comments

Around 65% of the surveyed students go to school by car

Curiously enough, almost 80% of them takes less than 10 minutes to get to school. That means that the distance between home and school can be easily walked!

Over 67% of pupils who go to school everyday by car would like to go by bicycle instead. The question is: 'Why don't they use a bicycle to go to school?' A good question for our town halls.
